Marcin Momot of CD Projekt RED confirmed that New Game Plus mode will not be part of update 2.1 for Cyberpunk 2077. What's more, Momot reminded that the company did not and does not have plans to add this option to the cyberpunk RPG.

On this occasion, the team invited viewers to a special stream, during which task director Pawel Sasko and producer Monika Janowska will discuss the patch. The broadcast will begin tomorrow at 1:00 a.m. PST on Twitch.
As an incentive, the developers revealed that during the stream they will discuss "some nice surprises" that will be included in update 2.1. The official message reads:
"On December 5th, 2023, the same day Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition hits the shelves, we’ll release a free Update 2.1 for Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, introducing new and hotly anticipated gameplay elements.
If you’d like to learn more about the update us for REDstreams on December 1st, 4 PM CET on our Twitch channel. Our hosts, Amelia Kolat and Alicja Kozera (Senior Community Managers) will be ed by Pawel Sasko (Quest Director) and Monika Janowska (Producer) to talk about new features and changes.
