Following the Crysis 3 has broke online. Now the German developers have officially confirmed them, announcing Crysis Remastered Trilogy. The package is set to be released in fall 2021 and will include all three games from the series. Below you can watch a short trailer.
The collection will be released on PC, PS4, XONE and Switch, and will also be available on PS5 and XSX|S through backward compatibility. Saber Interactive is assisting the developers in optimizing the original game for modern hardware - the same people who took part in refreshing the first Witcher and The Witcher 3.
Crysis Remastered Trilogy project manager Steffen Halbig doesn't hide his excitement:
"We’re excited to announce that these iconic Crysis games are returning in one bundle, remastered for a new generation of hardware. Each game is enhanced to look and play beautifully on today’s platforms, delivering the finest Crysis experience for both newcomers to our classic franchise or players wishing to relive the adventure."
And that's pretty much it for now. We can expect the second and third installment to FidelityFX Super Resolution, as the manufacturer's GPUs are installed in Sony and Microsoft's devices. We'll get a good excuse to return to the North Korean islands or New York and discover the secrets of the C.E.L.L. organization. More details on Crysis Remastered Trilogy will be revealed a bit later.
