Codemasters Working on Its Biggest Game in a Decade
The developers of DiRT 5 are working on a new project that is expected to be Codemasters' biggest and most ambitious game in a decade.

Job announcements have long been a great source of information about unrevealed games. The latest example of this is the offer published by Codemasters Cheshire. The team is looking for a production manager for "Codemasters' biggest and most ambitious project in a decade".
The latest game by Codemasters Cheshire was DiRT 5, released last November, and it's been almost a year since that release, so it's likely that a new game has been in production for quite some time.
DiRT 5 was released on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, and the game met with quite a warm reception. On OpenCritic, the title has an average rating of 81%.
Shortly after the game's release, rumors surfaced that Codemasters might be acquired by a larger publisher. They turned out to be true and a few days later outbid by Electronic Arts and eventually the racing game developer ed the EA family.
The first game released by Codemasters under the new banner was this year's Motorstorm).
