Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey was released. At the same time, 9 years ed since the last major installment. So, of course, many people were waiting for this game. Some of them even want to play with others. The title Mario and Luigi consists of 2 characters, doesn’t it? Let’s talk about it.
Multiplayer and Coop in Mario and Luigi Brothership Explained
As the title suggests, in Mario & Luigi: Brothership you control two characters – Mario and Luigi. The presence of two protagonists could suggest that some sort of multiplayer or local co-op will be available in the game. Unfortunately, this is not true. This RPG is a single player only and you can’t play with your friends.
Keep in mind that Nintendo can be unpredictable, but when it comes to game development, it’s unlikely to experiment. So, probably a couple of patches to Mario & Luigi: Brothership will be released but not adding co-op. Rather, they will fix issues that occur in the game. So, you can expect that this title will not receive a multiplayer and you must play it alone.
