Brutal FPS about the end of Cold War focuses on „uncompromising realism.” After years of development on Steam, you can finally check out Afterconflict in action
A demo of the FPS Afterconflict hit Steam. The game shows what would happen if the Cold War became a global military conflict.

After years of development, the FPS Afterconflict is now available on Steam. It's true that it's just a demo version for now, but given how long players have been waiting for it (with the first posts about the game dating back to 2019), it's quite a big event.
A game like Arma 3 presents an alternate history where the Cold War turned into World War 3. In the game, we find ourselves in the middle of a brutal conflict between the armies of NATO and the Warsaw Pact.
The description of Afterconflict suggests that the developers made an effort to faithfully represent the available resources of each side, "from the latest cutting-edge technology to equipment salvaged from long-closed chests in a desperate fight for survival." You can see the developers' attention to detail not only in the realistic weapons and vehicles, but also in how they work. Players should be ready for rifles that bend under high temperatures, bullets that jam weapons, and projectiles that bounce off targets at unexpected angles.
To survive, we will need to react quickly to events on the battlefield, using various tactics. In case of problems, we can use options such as air . The game's engine will allow players to create mods in the future.
The mentioned demo version of the shooter game includes a "basic training ground located somewhere in the Eastern Bloc." Players can test the basic features of the game as well as various weapons, vehicles, and equipment elements. The developers gave us a choice of one of two factions: the USSR and the GDR.
The devs emphasize that all on the demo will be used to improve it.
Especially as Afterconflict uses a custom engine, please stay extra mindful of the fact that this demo is a Work In Progress; as your rolls in we'll be processing it and releasing various updates both big and small, this will come in the form of new content, fixes, optimisations, and really whatever else we can do to make your experience with our demo as enjoyable as possible! - devs explain.
