Borderlands Movie Casts Florian Munteanu as Krieg
Florian Munteanu, the actor known from the role of Viktor Drago in Creed 2, will the cast of the Borderlands movie as Krieg.
As The Hollywood Reporter found out, Florian Munteanu, a Romanian actor known mainly for his role of Viktor Drago in Creed II, will the cast of the movie adaptation of Borderlands. Negotiations with producers are currently being finalized and soon this engagement should be officially announced.
Muntenau will play the role of Krieg, who will act as the bodyguard of a sociopathic explosives expert known as Tiny Tina. It's worth recalling here that it was announced last week that Ariana Greenblatt will play the latter character.
Florian Munteanu will a cast that's teeming already with familiar names. Borderlands movie will feature Kevin Hart as Roland, Jamie Lee Curtis, who will play Tannis.
Krieg made his debut as a playable Psycho class character in Borderlands 3. He's known for his speech impediment, as demonstrated in the hilarious short film A Meat Bicycle Built For Two, part of the marketing campaign for the second game.
Shooting of Borderlands movie will begin in the middle of next month in Hungary. The film will be directed by Eli Roth, while Craig Mazin, who is also working on the TV adaptation of The Last of Us for HBO, is responsible for the latest version of the script.
