One of the most popular Crusader Kings III.
The relevant mod has been developed for a long time and work on it is proceeding in the right direction. Recently, the creators of the mod, running under the same name as similar project for Crusader Kings II, i.e. A Game of Thrones, published several new official screenshots from it, where we can see the family of King Aerys II Targaryen, the famous mad ruler, who was overthrown by Robert Baratheon. Here they are.
Slightly earlier the creators published pictures presenting an adult Daenerys and a sword handle. You can see them below.
As we can read in the first entry in the dev journal, which appeared on Reddit some time ago, the A Game of Thrones mod, at least in its launch form, will focus on the rebellion of the aforementioned Robert Baratheon. The fun will start on the day of its outbreak or a similar date. According to the promises, the project will offer a plenty of original models of crowns, swords, characters and even dragons, a small sample of which you can see on the screenshots.
Without a doubt, Crusader Kings III is an even better foundation to recreate the atmosphere of Ice and Fire Songs on than the second installment thanks to some elements, such as the presence of mottoes of families or increased importance of knighthood. Unfortunately, so far it is not known when the modification for the third game will go live. The creators indicate that this will happen when their project "is ready".
