The last few hours turned out to be fruitful for those waiting for the release of Alaskan Truck Simulatora game combining truck simulator and survival elements, which studio Road is working on.
- On Steam a demo of the game has been made available. We expect that it will be available for only until June 20, because then the Steam Next Fest will end, so we advise those interested to hurry up.
- The devs ask to treat the demo as a "playtest", because they want the suggestions of players to enable them to improve the project. To this end, they have made available a survey, in which they ask about the impressions from the demo version.
- The creators have also released a new trailer, shown during the virtual Future Games Show June 2022.
Alaskan Truck Simulator is coming to for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The PC version will be available for purchase on Steam, GOG.com and Epic Games Store. The release is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of this year.
The game will combine standard truck simulator mechanics with survivalist elements. During the game, the player will transport goods across Alaska, but it will also be necessary to take care of the driver and deal with hunger and fatigue.
Also the missions themselves will provide thrills, because the routes will be full of dangerous sections, where any mistake can lead to a disaster. Successful completion of the tasks will enable us to get the funds that we'll spend on repairs and upgrades of the truck, and over time they will also enable us to buy better machines, which will open access to more lucrative contracts.
