Another installment in the popular Nintendo series about Pokémon, released as a pair of games: Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. The action takes place in French-like region Kalos. You assume the role of a young Pokémon trainer traveling through the world in search of new creatures you catch and train for Pokémon League battles. To be successful you need to earn eight Gym Badges by defeating the Battle Arenas’ leaders specialized in different elements. Then, you will have to prove your strength to the so-called Elite Four – the best trainers in Kalos. Game mechanics do not differ significantly from the previous installments. The core aspects of Pokemon X are still world exploration, chatting, and battling others with Pokémon of different abilities and techniques. Pokémon X and Y are the first in the series to utilize fully 3D graphics.

A mobile RPG that s augmented reality technology, created by Niantic studio in conjunction with The Pokemon Company. The application uses smartphones’ and tablets’ cameras to the surrounding reality, then include additional, three-dimensional objects on it. We searching for Pokemon by following the instructions from our GPS. Other elements of gameplay aren’t much different from what we’ve seen in other entries in the series. The game focuses on finding and catching pocket monsters, then training them and dueling against players from the entire world. Pokemon GO application works in conjunction with a dedicated gadget, sold separately, a wristband that gives us access to some additional options if we happen to be without our smartphone. The band will vibrate and glow whenever there is a Pokemon nearby.

Pokemon (2018) is another installment of the extrermely popular jRPG series that was created by Game Freak in the 1990s. It is the first game of the series that was released on home video game consoles. The game's story focuses on a novice pokemon trainer who begins their adventure with a pokemon of their choosing. Our hero explores more and more locations and faces other trainer in order to prove that he/she is the best pokemon trainer in the region. Combat is turn-based. Key to victory lies in skillful usage of our pokemon's attacks and abilities. Each pokemon has its own unique stats, move sets, and abilities that influence its capability in combat. The game has eye-pleasing, cartoonish visuals.

You can choose from the entire set of sixth generation Pokémon – even though you begin with just a few basic beasts, with progress you get access to more powerful ones. This is a free-to-play production with microtransactions, featuring both single- and multiplayer modes.

It was released along with Pokemon Ultra Sun as the improved versions of the 7th generation handheld consoles launch titles, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. Once again, we play as a novice Pokemon trainer who desires to become the very best trainer in the world. The game comes with an alternative version of the story we saw in the series' previous installment, offers new types of Pokemon (some available only in this version), and offers some new and changed locations. Nothing has changed in of gameplay. We explore the game’s world, do quests, catch more and more Pokemon, and take part in turn-based duels with other trainers. Pokemon Ultra Moon s the PokeBank app that allows us to transfer Pokemon caught in other games of the series.

A new edition of the franchise's classic installment. Along with Pokemon Gold, the game constitutes the so-called second generation of the main video game series. The original version had its debut in Japan in 1999, and was released for Game Boy Color. More than fifteen years later, the game returns, coming out for Nintendo 3DS. Pokemon Silver is set in a fictional world inhabited by the titular creatures. The player takes on the role of a beginner Pokemon trainer. Their goals are to catch all the species of monsters and to defeat the best trainers. Compared with the first generation, the game introduces a lot of novelties, such as a new region (completely new Pokemon can be found here), a day-night cycle, additional items, as well as Pokemon breeding mechanics. The core of the experience remained unchanged however, as the player explores the game world viewed from above, talks to NPCs, catches new Pokemon and competes against the encountered trainers. All of this is conveyed by 16-bit visuals complemented by music composed by Jun'ichi Masuda. Contrary to the original version, the edition for 3DS gives an opportunity to both play and exchange with others via the local wireless network. Additionally, the game s the PokeBank application, so the player can transfer their subordinates to new installments of the series.

We take on the role of a young artist who creates his first work under the watchful eye of professor Andy. On each stage, our teacher introduces new gameplay elements, starting from the basic technique of drawing shapes and coloring, then raising difficulty and teaching us more advanced ways of drawing. Pokémon Art Academy was designed to quickly teach anyone to create their own good-looking images. Our works, created on 3Ds’ screen, can then be easily printed, saved on a memory card and published at Miiverse to present them to other home-grown artists.
