A sequel to the 2022 humorous first-person shooter, developed by Squanch Games. High on Life 2 once again allows us to plays as a hero who fights aliens using very talkative weapons. The sequel introduces new guns, as well as a skateboard used for travelling the maps.
High on Life 2 is a sequel to the wildly humorous sci-fi FPS from 2022, titled High on Life. The game was developed by the creators of the original, namely Squanch Games studio.
In High on Life 2 we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The adventure leads us through various locations, such as a galactic convention, a zoo full of aliens, or a futuristic liner for the wealthiest inhabitants of the universe. While exploring them and accomplishing the missions set before us, we primarily focus on eliminating hordes of enemies.
The game once again provides us with guns that are essentially alien and quite talkative forms of life. Among them, we will find both old acquaintances, like Kenny's pistol, Gus's shotgun, or Creature's grenade launcher, as well as completely new ones. They include a flamethrower, a peculiar nail gun, a pair of revolvers in love, as well as a bow.
The novelties do not end there, as the developers also equipped the protagonist with a skateboard. The new acquisition significantly increased his speed and mobility, allowing him to move around locations in a style worthy of Tony Hawk himself.
The action of High on Life 2 takes place after the events depicted in the first part of the series. The incidental hero managed to curb the ambitions of the intergalactic cartel, but the idyll did not last long. The mysterious guest from the past has returned and set a reward for the sister of our protagonist, once again plunging his life into chaos. As if that wasn't enough, along the way our "hero" stumbles upon the trail of another conspiracy that could wipe out the entire human race.
